It is fair time. I thought that I would update everyone. Paige is a happy girl right now, 3 blue ribbons!! She turned in cookies for her cooking
4-H class and she got a blue ribbon on them with an option to take them to state. She got a blue ribbon on showmanship with her lamb. For the market section of the lamb her lamb won it's division (they are divided up into divisions according to weight). Because she won her division she got to go to the championship round. They had the top ten lambs in the championship round. They took out the bottom five and Paige was still in it!! I couldn't believe it. She was the littlest one out there and the only girl. She was the third youngest kid to be showing anyways (the two younger then her were not even a week younger then her.) She did so good holding that huge lamb, he is almost 3 times her weight. She had to hold on to him for about 20 minutes in the championship round with no halter. She ended up getting 5th overall which we were super proud of her!! 5th out of about 90 lambs. We sell him this afternoon, kindof a sad day for Paige. I am proud of her and her dad. Jeremy did a great job helping her and learning how to raise a good lamb!!! Off to the sale.

Good Job Paige!!!
I am so impressed. It sounds like she's following in Mom's footsteps winning all the blue ribbons, especially in baking. Such talent. It's not fair it stays all in one family, spread it around will ya? Seriously, proud of Paige, and Mom and Dad for all their hard work too (I'm a parent, I know it's a team sport)
wow! that is awesome, send some of those blue ribbons cookies down here! or pass on the recipe! way to go Paige!
Congratulations Paige. You are so cute and I cant believe you are old enough for 4-H. I love you.
Katie,
I've sent a couple e-mails to you, but I'm not sure I have the right address. Shoot me off an e-mail if you get a chance.
What a great experience for Paige! Good job!
HEY SMITH FAMILY!! I'm so glad you found us! I can't believe how big your kids have gotten! I guess in my mind they are still two years younger. They are so cute and it is good to see that you are still doing well. I have missed all the great relationships at Summit, so make sure you have Jeremy say hi from me. He is still at Summit right? Or has he moved on to administration? Anyway, I'm excited to be able to keep up with you cute family! Thanks for the note!
