Signs That the School Year is Wrapping Up!

Paige had her annual school singing program last week. The program is always really good just a tad bit long. I am however really glad that they are able to have programs still, it seems like a lot of schools are cutting these out. Trey got a little bored but what do you expect from a three year old during a two hour program.

Our girls had their dance recital on Saturday. They both did really good. Here they are in their first costumes. Sadie has grown up a lot. She has a lot more confidence this year, ecept during her first dance I think she forgot about the dance for a minute because she was awe struck by the big crowd.

Here are the girls in their second costume. Sadie loved that her second costume was purple, because it is her favorite color. She also loved to wear her princess crown. She loves princess things becuase her name means princess.

Trey during the recital. A picture truly can say a 1000 words. Trey told me the other day, "You know what mom? Girls just don't understand boys." All Jeremy can say to this is that it is good that he learned it young!

After the dance recital Paige went to tell her teacher thank you and her teacher handed her a huge bouquet of baloons, I guess it pays to be polite. As you can see they are pretty happy about them

Sadie Graduated from Preschool Yesterday. She was so excited. We made her Preschool teacher Mrs. Rosaline a frog quilt because she loves frogs and Sadie was so proud to give it to her. Sadie also went to a day of kindergarten yesterday for her kindergarten screening. She went on the bus and everything. She was excited but by the time she got home I think she had had a little scensory overload. She just sat on my lap forever which I didn't mind one bit.

Trey got to have his first friend over yesterday. Jacob came all day becuase his mom was helping with Paige's field trip. They were so funny to watch. They spent most of the afternoon making a pretty cool stink bug house which consisted of rocks, sticks and grass.

Love the costumes! Laughing about the stink bug house, ahhh it begins! Lots more hours of fun with bugs are in store for you, and many collections of sticks and rocks. That's the main decor in K's room!

Oh how cute!!! Your girls are just darling in their dance costumes! I didn't know they danced--what type of dancing do they do? Kristen's into jazz dancing and loves it. I'll have to show her the pics. And what an insightful little guy Trey is--yes, he learned that lesson early on and good thing to, with two big sisters. :)
